The Central Executive Broadcasters Merit awards, which was held at the Centre for National Culture, sought to encourage broadcasters in the production of quality content for the people in the Central Region.
At the event, two media houses which belongs to business mogul, Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom, won:
Television Station of the year
Radio Station of the year
Television Program of the year
Radio Reporter of the year
Television Female Presenter of the year and
Television Manager of the year.
The manager of the station, Mr. Samuel Nana Effah Obeng was also awarded the most outstanding media personality promoting Cape Coast from outside, at the second edition of the )saberima Royal Awards, which was held at the Emintsimadze palace. The event sought to award businesses, media personalities and entrepreneurs in Cape Coast for their outstanding performances.
The colourful event was hosted by the Paramount Chief of Cape Coast, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II
