Hasaacas Ladies Football Club  presented its WAFU B trophy to leadership of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) on Thursday 19th August, 2021.

Speaking to those present, the Chairman of GHALCA, Mr kudjoe Fianoo congratulated the team for the great honour they have done the nation by winning the coveted trophy.

He described the winning team as pacesetters and role models to other ladies.

Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo went on to encourage the ladies to work hard at winning the main CAF Women’s Champions League trophy in Egypt later this year. He also assured them of GHALCA’s unflinching support for the team in any little way possible.

Mr. Fianoo added that even though GHALCA’s constitution only covers male league clubs in the country, there is a draft constitution which is being looked into for women’s premier league clubs to be added to the honourable association.

Touching on the upcoming First Lady’s Cup which is being organized by GHALCA in conjunction with the office of the first Lady,  Mr.Fianoo stated that the date for the tournament had to be shifted from September to November, 2021 due to some unforeseen challenges.

The team expressed gratitude to GHALCA for coming to their aid by presenting assorted items to them before the team embarked on the WAFU B journey.
