Stalwart Elmina Sharks Skipper Ismael Hammond believes Club bankroller Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom played a major role in the club’s league survival.
“Dr Nduom severally communicated with the playing team via Zoom,he encouraged us to fight and help the club survive relegation. It helped us a lot and all i want to stay is God bless him” Hammond said.
The Elmina sharks skipper made the revelation in an interview with Prof. Kuntu Blankson on Westgold Radio 106.3 in Sekondi-Takoradi.He also received his award as ‘Kuntu Blankson Sports Foundation player of the season’ during the program.The award recognises excellent and consistent performances of Sekondi-Takoradi footballers in the Ghana Premier league.The annual award has Chinese Restaurant,MD Car Sales and Rentals,First Gate Supermarket as its partners.
