Thunder Queens’ midfielder, Elizabeth Oppong has signed a 3-year deal with Cyprus-based Apollon Ladies F.C in Cyprus. The deal is however subject to renewal every year.
Elizabeth was pivotal for Thunder Queens in the just ended Women’s Premier League season where she won 3 NASCO Player of the match awards.
She also got nominated in January for the NASCO Player of the month award.
Apollon Ladies FC is household name when it comes to the UEFA Women’s Champions League and as such, Elizabeth will have the privilege to play the Champions League for the first time.
Elizabeth shot into limelight after playing an integral role in Ghana Black Maidens’ U-17 World Cup participation in Uruguay 2018.
